Tips and tricks to help you get the most from your Casa Scents products.
HOW TO GET THE BEST
FROM YOUR REED DIFFUSER
Remove the screw cap and stopper, replace the screw cap and insert the reeds into the opening.
The reeds will absorb the fragrance from the oil, diffusing it into the air.
To adjust the intensity of the fragrance, you can use more or fewer reeds as required.
You may turn the reeds upside down in the diffuser bottle if you wish, but this isn't necessary with our thick fibre reeds.
Always wash your hands after use.
Warning! Keep out of reach of children and pets. Combustible liquid that can sustain fire. Keep away from sources of ignition. May cause sensation by skin contact. Dangerous for the environment, please dispose responsibly. Harmful to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. When spilled, can contaminate soil, ground and surface water. Not for consumption, avoid contact with eyes and skin. If swallowed seek medical advice immediately and show them the packaging. Do not pour or spill fragrance over an unprotected area or surface and use only as directed. Do not place near or on varnished, painted or plastic surfaces as these may be damaged by the fragrance oils. Do not light reed sticks even after use. Handle with care and always wear gloves when handling the diffuser or reeds and wash hands after use.
HOW TO GET THE BEST
FROM YOUR CANDLE
The first burn is the most important. Candles should burn 1 hour for every 1 inch in diameter. You should burn a minimum of 4 hours to melt the entire top layer of wax otherwise the candle wax will tunnel and you will not get the full benefit of the candle.
Always burn candles well away from drafts, other heat sources, and anything flammable. Make sure burning candles are out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
We suggest trimming the wick every 4 hours of burn time. When wick trimming, you should always extinguish the flame, let the candle come to room temperature, and trim the wick to 5mm before relighting.
Since our candles can be sensitive to extreme cold and heat, it’s best to store them at room temperature. Extreme cold causes cracking and separation. After long exposure to the cold, you should allow the candle to return to room temperature for a minimum of 2 hours before burning it to minimise potential damage.
Storing candles for too long can affect the scent, so use your candle in a reasonable time to make the most of the beautiful fragrance.
Make sure you stop burning your candle when only 10mm of wax remains at the bottom as this means your candle has reached end of its lifespan.
